As Salam Alaikum,
We are delighted to announce that we will be resuming sisters’ self-defence classes for Wali ul Asr High school and alumni.
The Instructor:
Sr. Saba is a renowned martial arts champion and internationally certified fitness and Karate coach. She has been practicing and teaching martial arts for the past 18 years and has received an international 2nd degree black belt and won a number of medals and awards.
- Open to: Wali ul Asr High School girls and Alumni (sisters)
- Cost: $75 – The cost is non-refundable; we will return the amount if the class is already full.
- Dates: 18 Feb, 25 Feb, 11 March, 18 March, 29 April, 13 May, 27 May, 3 June, 10 June, 17 June, and 24 June
- Timings: 9:30 AM sharp – 10:30 AM
Note: Please note that electronic devices are not permitted for anyone below 18. Also note that all participants should ensure they have breakfast before class time in order to be in the best shape for class.
Although we take many precautions to keep the program safe, there is an inherent risk in self-defence/martial arts training. At any time during your training, if you have questions regarding the exercises, please ask the instructor. The undersigned individual or parent/guardian understands the dangers of studying martial arts/self defence and hereby releases Wali ul Asr, all instructors and all other students from any and all liabilities for any type of injuries or loss sustained while training, studying, practicing or in the application of martial arts or self defence. The undersigned also states that she is in good physical condition and knows of no reason why she cannot study and participate in self defence training. In the event of an emergency, I hereby authorize any licensed medical personnel to perform any accepted medical procedure deemed necessary and agree to bear the expense of any such treatment.
